Dear Megan,

Mary Magdalene has always been an interesting character in scripture for me. I never could see that she "loved" Jesus in any other way than as the son of God. It always perplexed and annoyed me that people tried to make out her love for him as something human rather than divine. I had no idea you were Mary and you did a fine job of showing her love for him in a godly context. Thank you for that.

I am so glad that you have found a good church where people love each other and their pastor. That is so important. Churches are filled with humans, like us, and they do struggle at times.

It was a blessing to have "met" you on this Adventure and I pray that you continue to grow in grace as you seek the Lord. I encourage you to jump in at your new church, volunteer and serve the Lord where he has you. It will help you to build strong relationships with your brothers and sisters in Christ and you will be blessed beyond measure.
