Ahhh, of course! Perhaps they're just getting to know each other, perhaps they've been going steady for a while, perhaps they've been together so long one of them is waiting to pop the question.
Let's look at some potential girlfriends, shall we?
Haley and Karen have only been together for a few weeks. Haley is a classic goth, dressed in black with fishnets and boots and the kind of accessories that scream 'occult', while Karen looks for all the world like a classic girl-next-door type, sweet and traditionally feminine and cute as a button. Both girls are just starting college, and one of them has a secret. Which one is it, and how will revealing it work out for them?
Wendy and Cheryl have been together almost six months now, and things are pretty good... for the most part. Wendy always dreamed of being a stay-at-home wife, but at the moment she's working at a call center, burning away the youth of her early 20's to fuel company profits. Cheryl is an artist, picking up part time jobs as she needs to, trying to fuel her future career. Tension brews as neither seems ready to sacrifice for what the other needs... but maybe a trip to a strange antique store could be the solution they've been needing. Or it could set the powderkeg to blow.
Rekha and Malini are in their 30's and settled down fairly well. They've managed to buy a house, they're in jobs they like, they've got friends they love. So... why do they both seem antsy? Well, Rekha's been waiting for Malini to pop the question, to seal the deal, for years with no avail, no matter how many hints she gives her. Malini loves Rekha but is starting to get bored of the same sex again and again. One of them is about to find a website selling a product that could solve their problems, or just make them so much worse.
Kaitlyn, Barbara, and Paula are all together... sort of. Kait and Paula had both been crushing on the local butch heartthrob Babs for ages, and that brought out a certain rivalry in the two friends. Now they're both dating the mechanic of their dreams, and trying to date each other too. Still, they aren't used to this new set-up, and there have definitely been some growing pains. Kaitlyn is scared of losing her best friend if the relationship goes sour, and Paula doesn't know how to tell Kait that she's had a huge crush on her for years. Babs just wants them all to get along, a task perhaps made easier with the help of a spellbook she recently acquired.
