Sam noticed some odd sounds, which were a little nerving on first hearing.
It kind of reminded him of an animal shelter, but there was also the odd... moaning? When he turned the corner of another lane, he see's a windowed wall and on the other side had cages and tanks within... but inside were beings anything other than normal animals.
Sam had to brush his dark hair to the side and gawk at what he was seeing. Behind the glass wall was creatures that were more human in shape than anything, or at least had more humanoid features, from having torsos of peoples attached to animals from the waist down, to actual people with fur and tails.
