You relent, not wanting to expand any more energy or thought. The idea of her rolling and possibly squishing you somewhere more uncomfortable being the major factor. You were stuck here, you might as well try to get some shut eye. The heat and noises of Shalenna's body started to meld together in your mind, it started to become comforting. In the pitch black you could convince yourself you were resting on the shore of a each on a nice warm day. As your mind drifted you found yourself more and more comfortable, her stomach groaning and faint heartbeat lulling you to sleep. Before long, your mind blanks, and you fall asleep...
You wake up to see you've been placed back on the desk as Shalenna is already dawning her equipment, her leather armor basically only covering her breasts and legs. She turns to her desk, her hair still down as she looks to you with a warm smile "Oh hey there sleepy head! I was going to wake you up but you seemed totally tuckered out. It was sooo cute, I won't lie." She plops herself on the chair of her desk as she begins to tie her long, flowing golden hair into a more manageable pony tail. "I'm glad the sleeping accommodations were to your liking, I hope you don't mind that I gave you a little smooch before setting you down on the desk" She admitted, now checking her pack while sitting at the desk. You give a nod "Honestly I wasn't too used to sleeping next to others, but after I got used to things it was very cozy. Probably the best sleep of my life" you tell her openly. She looks back at you, holding a carrot in her left hand and says "Really? Oh my gosh you're soooo cute little guy. Alright I think we're gonna end up getting along great! Just you watch!" Immediately after, you watch as the carrot she was holding disappears whole down her throat, with a noisy gulp. She turns back to you with a beaming grin as if there was nothing odd about that.
As you watch her continue to check her pack, the uneasiness of remembering her goddess and her faith creeps back in. She seems kind, if not a bit clumsy and definitely ditsy. You couldn't really see someone like her doing evil deeds, so how did she come across this religion? Your pondering are interrupted by a hand suddenly jutting towards you "C'mon, no time for daydreaming," she joked, returning you yet again to the grip of her hands "we gotta go out there and make some money! Find a cool quest or like, at least a decent one y'know? Oh! Speaking of dreams, last night I was totally-" She continued to regale you with tales of her dreams last night, something about losing an arm and having to fight an kraken to replace it? You politely nodded as you tuned out much of her ramblings, still stuck on what exactly to make of this party you were now a part of.
When you both make it to the table from yesterday you see everyone else gathered, looking over quests and enjoying breakfast. The party greets you, and Megoza had picked out some berries from her breakfast to give to you. As you eat you you can hear Eldia and Delilah squabbling over which quests to take. "Bandit camps are consistent and easy money, I assumed you would know that having done this as long as you have" Eldia argued. "Yeah and they're dead boring, plus there's nothing to write a song about there, how else are we supposed to make a name for ourselves if we keep doing basic shit?" Delilah barks back, seemingly in an extra foul mood this morning "Look here: Lamias, a horde of them, kidnapping townsfolk. That basically writes itself, and lamias aren't even that big of a deal." Eldia's gaze continued to stay on Delilah as she confidently uttered "Yes, and if we take out the lamias and return to a town ransacked by a nearby bandit horde, where do we make our money exactly?" Magoza quietly chimes in saying "What about this quest to find a lost dog? I mean it seems the safest and it's from a rich noble offering some magic items on top of the gold, maybe that's a good idea?' Both women looked at her dismissively before turning to the both of you "Shalenna, what do y-" Delilah begins before she cuts herself off, watching Shalenna wolf down her porridge, clearly not paying attention to either of the other three.
The gloomy, dark haired woman's eyes shift to you "Don't get too close to that bowl now, you might get sucked in." You could tell her jab was meant to be dark humor but the very real thought of that happening made you pull your berries closer to the center of the table. "What about little one?" Eldia began, now also turning her attention towards you "What do you think would be our best bet?" You look over the quests at hand and decide to vote on:
