Ariel followed Leon, and looked around for firewood, but she waited as Leon took out the equipment from his bag.
Leon took out everything he needed from his bag, and the size of the items along with their quantity was surprising for a simple backpack. He just attributed it to "game logic", and moved on. He wasn't going to question the size of his inventory considering he was sucked inside a game cartridge, and the fact that it made his journey easier was a nice bonus.
Either way, with the camp set up, Leon saw that Ariel already spotted some firewood for him, and he gave his starter a head pat.
"Ma," sighed Ariel as her sails flashed green, and she pouted when Leon pulled his hand away.
Ariel followed her trainer while keeping an eye out for Pokemon that might be hiding, and it didn't take long for them to have enough firewood to set up a modest campfire. The campfire was lit, and she watched as her trainer took out a lunchbox with a combination of Pokemon food and berries from the bag.
Leon opened a lunchbox especially prepared for Ariel, and placed it down before he took out his own lunchbox. Another game logic that worked in his favor was the fact that food stayed fresh inside his bag, and was still hot from the moment it was made. He was thankful that his backpack was pretty much a Bag of Holdings, and enjoyed his warm meal. This was the reason he could take his time, and not run out of food between destinations.
Either way, the duo enjoyed their meal, Ariel by reaching down, and Leon by using a spork that came with the lunchbox.
