"Thanks for the ride, Chell!" Mabel yelled as she stepped out of the Chell's car. "You're always a lifesaver."
"Not a problem." Chell replied. "Trust me, I know you hate the cold. A lot of people hate it."
"Me more so then others..." Mabel muttered as she shut the car door. With that, Chell's car took off again, and Mabel raced back inside her home. She only hoped that it wasn't too late.
The second she walked through the door, she shut it, ran to her kitchen, and started to peel off the multiple layers of winter clothing. It took a couple of seconds, but she managed to do so. Once that was done, she took a look at her butt... and grimaced.
"Dammit!" Mabel yelled. "Even with all that crap on?!"
Mabel's butt had swollen slightly. It wasn't a whole lot, but still enough to be somewhat obvious. That was the main reason for Mabel's distaste for the cold: for a while now, she's had a sort of... condition that causes her butt to grow bigger when she's out in cold weather. She'd taken to doing everything she could to stay warm outside, since staying home wasn't always an option. But it seemed no matter what, her butt would grow.
She was at least glad she chose to wear sweatpants to work today. Meant she'd at least still fit in something.
All she could do now is sit at home, and hope that with the heat cranked up, her butt would shrink down. At least it was better then last year's sudden cold front, which left her stuck at home since her butt had gotten too big to fit through any door. And on her 5'1'' frame, that made her HUGE.
Sighing, Mabel decided to make herself some hot cocoa. As she did, she remembered she still had to finish wrapping her Christmas presents. Though with Christmas itself not for a week, she probably had a little more time. Maybe there was one of those sappy, feel-good Christmas movies on that she could watch and laugh at. She could also invite some neighbors over for... whatever.
