Bill yawned as he got out of bed hearing his phone ding with a message. 'Congratulations you've been selected..." he read on the phone before putting it down.
He had been getting the same spam message for the last two days now. It had come from the same number and kept coming through despite the fact he had blocked it. He had also received emails that his spam filter wouldn't block out, on both his accounts. He had also been receiving letters from them as well. It was a very targeted scam whatever it was.
As he put down his phone and started getting ready for work he heard a knock on his door. He quickly put on some pants and a shirt before opening the door.
"Are you Bill Carlson?" a man in a suit and tie asked. He was holding a briefcase and had a serious look on his face...
"Yes..." Bill answered without much thought...
"Congratulations, you're our newest contestant on Life Swap, the game where you swap lives with a random person experiencing everything it has to offer..."
Bill was about to shut the door on him, but as soon as he had heard the full explanation he froze...
