Lisa had invented a new powder.
She didn't know what it would do, but she decided she'd test it on all her siblings and herself.
Thankfully, they were having dinner shortly and she'd been asked to lay the table, so she gave all her siblings and herself a glass (or sippy cup in Lily's case) of apple juice with the powder dissolved into it.
Then, at dinner, she made a toast, so everyone took a sip at once.
Instantly, all of the children fell into a coma.
"Kids?!" said the parents in unison.
Then, they disappeared in a flash.
"Oh my goodness!" said Rita and Lynn Sr. began to cry.
Meanwhile, the kids woke up.
"What happened?" said Lincoln.
Just then, in walked the alternate....
