The ground's tremors got more intense with each passing second. He looked up and saw his precious mama looking down at him with a worried expression on her face. She scratched her head in confusion.
"Oops..that...wasn't supposed to happen." She said out loud. She knelled down to get a better look at Kana. "You okay Kana?" She asked worriedly. In reality, he was completely fine, but he was a little scared about being this small.
"I-I'm fine Mama. What happened to me?" He asked. Corrin rubbed the back of her head with a worried smile on her face.
"I don't know. The stone was SUPPOSED to turn you into a dragon like mine does. I'm not sure why it shrunk you down." She said.
"I'll have to ask Azura about this. Do you still have the stone?" She asked. Kana looked around on the ground and noticed the shrunken stone a few feet from him. It seems the stone shrunk along with him. He looked at it, and noticed that there was a very pronounced crack in the center. This only worried him further, but he looked up to answer.
"Yeah, I have it. There's a big crack in the stone. Is that supposed to be there?"
"A crack? No? Was the stone faulty?" She asked herself. "Never mind about that now, let me get you out of here. C'mon." She said, extending her hand to the floor. Kana mounted his mama's hand, and she brought him close to her face. The sudden shift of Corrin's hand made Kana slightly nauseous. Kana looked at his mother, and noticed she was smiling affectionately.
"Mama's got you. You're safe Kana." She said. Corrin opened a small compartment in her armor, and placed Kana inside. The "pocket" was just deep enough for Kana to stand up in, and still see outside. Corrin admitted to herself that Kana was especially cute at his size.
