Meanwhile, back in reality, Raymond wasn't really getting fat.
He'd taken his shorts and swim diaper off and ran out of the paddling pool.
Then, he'd ran into the street and into a nearby KFC and ice cream parlor.
Several people were wondering about the identity of the little boy and saying things like, "No, boy! You must not touch the food!" (This is what he integrated into his fantasy as "panicking and evacuating.")
What happens now?
