Jennifer Walters sat in her office and chuckled to herself as she used her phone to look up her own exploits as She-Hulk on social media. Her favorites thus far were the story of how she wiped out three all you-can- eat buffets in one day and the video of her taking on the challenge to break the world burping record. The jade super heroine's belch was so powerful that even watching the replay seemed to make her phone shake! Jen began another bout of laughter until she stopped and decided to look at an older video. This one showed her as She-Hulk battling with Titania outside a Mexican restaurant. In fact, it was a restaurant that Jen often frequented and had been visiting on the day of the incident.
An enormous grin spread across the heroic lawyer's face as she watched her mighty- muscled gamma self pound on Titania and knock her to the ground before positioning herself over the villain's face. There was a faint rumbling sound and..."PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT!" Jennifer laughed out loud now as she watched her on-screen counterpart unleash a monstrous toxic fart in her rival's face, the perfect end to a fight that followed a heavy, gas-inducing meal. She was feeling so good at the moment that she decided to transform and admire herself in her full-length office mirror.
"I may only be the second strongest next to Bruce," She-Hulk said as she flexed her huge muscles, "but I am most definitely the gassiest one there is!" Just then, her phone received an update and She-hulk was shocked to Wonder Woman was now trending above her because she had beaten Supergirl in a belching contest, her winning belch having caused the collapse of a nearby building.
Jennifer glared at her phone as her good mood rapidly soured. She and Wonder woman had long had an intense rivalry and while she would begrudgingly admit that the amazon surpassed her in strength{for now} and fame as both a heroine and sex symbol, she refused to allow anyone to beat her in terms of gas!
The jade giantess impulsively went back to the video of her belching and took note of the fact that while her mighty eruct ion shattered windows and caused a great tremor, no buildings collapsed as far as could tell. This made her so angry that she crushed the phone in her hand.

It was some hours later that Diana Prince, agent of the department of metahuman affairs, was called in to aid S.H.I.E.L.D. in stopping a rampaging She-hulk. She knew right away that Wonder Woman was needed and slipped away to change into costume at the first opportunity. Not wanting to risk innocents by engaging her rival in a fight, she chose to ensnare She-Hulk in her unbreakable Lasso of Truth and drag her away.
"Alright, Jennifer, talk! Why have you suddenly decided to emulate your cousin?" Wonder Woman demanded to know while they let She-Hulk's firm handle things with S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Department.
"I was jealous of you for upstaging me." She-Hulk blurted out, compelled by the Lasso's magic. "Oh?" Diana couldn't tell whether she was irritated or amused. "Is this about our last arm-wrestle? The weight-lifting contest? The flex-off, perhaps?"
Wonder Woman playfully flexed her mighty arm. It clearly surpassed She-Hulk and raised Jen's ire even further. "You...out-belched me. Nobody does that! I want a burping contest, here and now!"
Diana shook her head. "I knew I shouldn't have accepted Kara's challenge. Very well, but no more tantrums, agreed?" Jen nodded and Wonder Woman untied her. "You may start us off."
She-Hulk sucked in a big breath. "BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-UUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUU-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP!" The resulting belch echoed through the city and made Diana's hair flutter a bit.
"Very good, but not good enough! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Wonder Woman's massive belch blew She-hulk backwards and surpassed her's in volume, yet somehow caused less damage to the city and made people laugh, even the authorities!
"I want a rematch!" She-hulk demanded as she got to her feet, somewhat embarrassed by how whiny she sounded. Wonder Woman began to think. "Very well then, you'll have it. I invite you to compete in some Amazon trials with me on Themyscara a month from now. There will not only be a belching contest, but you'll have a chance to beat me at eating, farting, and several other things at well. What do you say?"
Jennifer waited for a long moment before clasping Diana's hand in a grip that would've crushed a normal' woman's bones. "You're on, Wondie! See you in a month."
