Your original plan in choosing a leaf-green parachute had been to blend in with nature, to avoid predators detecting you. Now, that seems like a terrible idea. From her elevated position, Tara sees nothing more than a leaf on her knee, and effortlessly brushes it aside with her hand.
Down where you are, you get your first experience of what her terrible, immense power is like when turned against you. Relentless flesh smashes into you, adding further bruises before sending you into freefall. This time you are entangled with the chute and its lines, plunging with nothing to slow your descent!
Your fingers work tirelessly, tugging and twisting to free your limbs and get the chute deployed again. You turn in mid-air, rolling to bring the main body of your salvation to grab the air, to cushion you best, before the real ground ends your life.
Once more you are jerked as your plan works, and you can breathe easy as you gently descend the last few feet. The parachute settles gently around you as your feet touch down, and you don't have the energy to rell it all it. The best you manage is to pull enough aside to see the outside world, to gaze up the vast distance you just fell, to see the goddess Tara still sitting atop that distant tree branch.
She bellows something, just distant thunder, and then you see her jump free from her perch.
The sunlight is blotted out by the descending giant, and a moment later her feet impact the ground, one great boot either side of you, the greatest quake yet as her vast mass sinks those mountainous forms deep into the earth. Soil chunks are thrown into the air, raining down on you like hailstones. You draw the chute back over yourself for cover, and hope that she's dropped down to look for you.
