"First, take those bags. I don't want to, like, ruin my nails," Says Beth in a bratty tone and hands you the bags with groceries that she just bought.
Luckily they aren't too heavy. You are able to carry both in one hand.
"Now, we are going to go late night shopping." Says Beth in a commanding tone.
"Haven't you just finished doing that?" You ask.
"I don't mean this chore, I only had to do this because mom and dad were, like, in too much of a hurry for their holiday to buy this stuff for me themselves!" Complains Beth.
"Anyway, we will do, like, real shopping! I saw some really cute shoes in the store lately. I totally, like, need to have those, but my parents refused to give me money for them... There was also a really trendy dress in another store..." Beth goes on for a bit about shoes and clothes she wants to buy as you walk out of the grocery store with her.
You have a really bad feeling about it. Lizzie will be back at hers in a little while, expecting to see you. Plus, all the stores she mentions sound rather expensive. That trip to store might have suddenly become much more costly than you planned it to...
Beth walks with you for a while, until you reach the street of your city known for being filled with various shops offering clothes, shoes and everything fashion related.
She enters the first store you pass by, and you follow her there. Beth immediately starts by browsing shoes, all of them with rather high prices on their tags... you would never pay so much for your own clothes.
It feels really weird for you to be there with Beth... other men in the store seem to be there with their girlfriends, accompanying them probably hoping to get some action if they are patient here, yet you are here with the younger sister of your ex...
