The lioness and wolf bring you back to the crashed spaceship with them. The wolf says excitedly, âWeâve made a great discovery.â The female hammerhead chuckled, âYou found out how to tie your shoes finally.â The wolf scowled at her, âNo, and Iâm working on it. We found a living, breathing HUMAN.â The eagle chuckled at his wolf counterpart, âOk, ok good one but really.â The lioness stepped out of the brush just behind the wolf, dragging you with her, âIs this proof enough for you.â Everyoneâs eyes widened, the eagle could only mutter, âItâs real.â The lioness and wolf nodded, âYep and thereâs more of them, much more a few billion of their species inhabit this planet, guess humans arenât as extinct as we thought they were.â The eagle shook his head, âImpossible, they were all wiped out by the virus made by Nemesis. How did they survive?â
The wolf shrugged, âI donât know, theyâre resourceful. I mean they were resourceful enough to make us to carry on their legacy in case their entire species, ya know⌠died out.â You were really confused by all of this but he felt happy that they called your kind resourceful, considering how un-technologically advanced humans were to these aliens. The eagle approached you, âHuman, may I speak with you?â You smile at him, âOf course.â The eagle stood in front of you, he sized you up a lot being he was built like a body builder and was a good foot or two taller than you. Come to think of it they all were a bit taller than you, youâd probably only be up to the lionessâ and wolfs chests at your height. The eagle grinned, âConsidering your shocked look, Iâm guessing you donât get interstellar travelers on your planet everday.â You shake your head no.
The eagle chuckles, âWell I would like to invite you to come back to our home planet with us. We would love to study your body, like your DNA, blood, organ functions and so forth. You may very well be a direct descendant of our ancestors, like everyone else on this planet. But weâd like to keep things a little hush, hush right now. We know very little about your culture and we would rather not cause a ruckus by having you tell more humans about us or have someone else discover us. I know this is a bit sudden but I need your decision now.â You ponder it over a bit, youâll probably never get an offer like this for the rest of your lifetime. And you could go down in history as the person that discovered aliens and also befriended them on behalf of all man kind. At the same time if you step in their spaceship with them there is probably no turning back and if they decide to dissect you or something you probably wonât have much of a say in the matter.
As you ponder this over you notice the eagle is gesturing something towards the lioness, you donât pay much mind to it before you feel something hard and metallic strike your head. You fall to the ground and slowly start to lose consciousness. The last thing you feel before blacking out is a pair of furry paws grabbing you and hoisting you over someoneâs shoulder. Sometime later you spring up, you realize youâre on a bed, thankfully not some kind of medical table. The sheets are warm and soft but you look at the room around you and realize itâs not your bedroom but some foreign one with pictures of anthropomorphic creatures on the walls. One of the pictures on the wall being a picture of the lioness from before with two other lions that looked much older than her, you must be in her room.
You jump out of the bed and run for the door, trying to open it you see that itâs locked. You slam your fists on the door only to realize it is made of steel. You bang and scream until the door opens. You see in front of you this lioness, she asks with a worried expression, âWhatâs wrong humanâŚâ Too late, before she can even finish you slam your fist into her stomach, knocking her back a bit. She then growls at you, âAre you fucking kidding me, ok, if youâre looking for a fight youâll get one.â She rushes up to you, you try to deliver a punch but she catches it in her paw and squeezes your fist effortlessly, you start to scream as it feels like every bone in your hand is turning to dust, âOk, ok I give.â
She lets your hand go as you collapse to the floor, âNow what has gotten into you?â You scream, âWhat do you mean, you guys abducted me.â She cocked and eyebrow and grinned, âTechnically yes, but listen itâs for a good cause, weâre bringing you back to our planet to study you and sample your genome. See to make a long story short, humans went extinct on our planet thousands of years ago. They were more technologically advanced then the humans on your planet. They were soon threatened by a powerful alien virus they had never encountered before because they were fairly reserved to themselves and barely ever dealt with off world species, leading to a vulnerability to alien viruses and sicknesses. Humanity was soon brought to itâs knees but they infused human DNA with DNA from animals on their planet and that created our kind. Humans called us Anthros, made sense since we were pretty much the humanized versions of the animals on their planet. Now this is great for us because we may be able to either work alongside with the humans on your planet or reverse what the humans had done to create us and in effect recreate humanity on our planet using you and your genome. To be honest once we found you, you didnât really have much of a choice we wouldâve taken you on board anyways, either with or without force.â
You rub your head, âThis is a lot to take in.â The lioness nods, âI understand, it must be quite the shell shock to be talking with a humanoid animal.â You nod and chuckle, âYou could say that again.â This makes the lioness chuckle, âMy nameâs Rein by the way.â She extends a paw to you, âDo humans still shake hands?â You take her paw and shake it, âYeah we do, and the nameâs Andrew.â Rein chuckles and licks your cheek, âNice to meet you, you hungry at all?â You answer, âActually yeah I am.â She gets up and gestures for you to follow her, âCome on itâs almost dinner time.â You get up and follow her, âAwesome what are we having?â Rein chuckles, âOh youâll see.â
