Chapter #7Sam Becomes Ant Sized by: Steamgear   Sam gulped as the words left Gwen's mouth. She was already a mere inch tall, a size comperable to the height of the shoes currently standing before her. If the two British preteens stood taller than skyscrapers at her current perspective, then how daunting would they look if she was reduced any smaller. Her fear quickly turned to relief though. The sisters couldn't shrink her, Cat was the one with the shrink ray. Her relief was short-lived though. She soon saw the older of the two girls lifting the bizzare-looking gun off of the couch. In Cat's rush to get her bibble, she hadn't even bothered hiding the shrink ray. And now Sam was going to suffer for her dimwitted nature. Without giving the girls a chance to even turn back to face her again, Sam took off across the carpeted floor. She was pushed on by adrenaline as the fear of being reduced even further flared up yet again.
"Go grab her, you'll have to hold her still while I shrink her down to.....one centimeter tall," Gwen commanded her younger sister, pausing a moment as she fiddled with the size setting on the shrink ray.
Ruby happily complied, stomping off towards the fleeing minuscule babysitter. Sam's flee was spurred onward as she felt the ground quaking beneath her feet, nearly tripping her up with every booming shake. The sadistic giggles of enjoyment from Ruby helped motivate her further. Sam saw the ground ahead of her darken as a shadow fell over her. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the black sole of Ruby's flat, lined with dirt, dust, and debris, came crashing down towards her. Within a split second of being smashed out of existence, Sam managed to dive out of the way.
"Careful!" Gwen shouted in response to her sister's misstep, "We don't want to squash the little bug." After a moment she added, "...yet", in a quiet whisper.
"Sorry," Ruby replied, as she bent over to grab the shrunken babysitter.
Disoriented from the deafening smash of Ruby's foot coming down and thrown off her feet by the last minute dodge, Sam was helpless as Ruby snatched her up. Her hand closed around her body, gripping it tightly and immersing her in utter darkness. The tight prison shock back and forth as Ruby dutifully returned to her older sister. When light returned, Sam found herself falling towards the ground once again. As she was about to stand up she was quickly pushed back down by Ruby's fingers as she pinned the shrunken girl to the ground with her thumbs. Looking up, Sam saw Ruby squatting over her, her orange panty-clad butt only a few feet from her. Further on, passed the canopy-like hem of her dress, she saw Gwen standing. In one hand she held the shrink ray, though in the other she was holding a heavy book labeled "Sky Store Shrink Ray User's Manual". Judging by the smirk on her face, whatever she was reading in it was highly entertaining.
"Well, well, well," she began, glancing down to the shrunken Sam at her feet, "Isn't this interesting..."
"What does it say? What does it say?" Ruby asked, bouncing up and down excitedly.
Gwen cleared her throat before quoting a warning in the book, "The Sky Store Patented Shrink Ray can only shrink objects. Shrunken objects cannot be grown back to normal size. Sky Store does not currently sell Growth Rays."
Gwen began laughing, knowing that Sam would be stuck at whatever size they left her at. Ruby joined in after a second, as she realized what that meant. Sam, on the other hand, responded with a fearful scream. Cat had already mentioned that she couldn't be grown back to normal size, but somehow with the two British brats laughing about it, the concept seemed so much scarier.
"Please don't shrink me more," Sam yelled, making one last plea.
Gwen simply smiled, taking careful aim, and fired the shrink ray at Sam. A beam of light impacted the already tiny girl in the chest and she was forced to watch as the world shot up around her. Her arms slipped out from beneath Ruby's thumbs as she dwindled in size, the large digits slowly growing to the size of houses. Further above, the young girl's massive butt grew into a pair of incredible mountain peaks, hanging awkwardly in the air. Her skirt became an orangish colored sky as the ceiling drew impossibly far away, to the point that it became blurred in the distance. Looking forward though was the most daunting of all the sighs, Gwen herself. The ten year old was impossibly huge, stretching up into the sky higher than any skyscrapper or mountain. She looked so tall that her face was blurred in the distance, although a smug grin was still easily visible.
Sam's fear-inducing view of the world was cut off abruptly as Ruby picked her up. Unlike at an inch tall, when she was held comfortably in her palm, Ruby had to pinch up the centimeter tall girl between her thumb and index finger. The motion almost smashed the miniscule girl like a car in a compacter as the two walls of flesh utterly consumed her world. Fortunately, at such a tiny size, Sam was quite durable and was not swiftly executed by the attempt at simply picking her. As she was lifted into the air, Sam shivered in fear. The feeling of being pinched between the titanic twerp's fingers at this size was no different from being scooped up in her palm.
Sam would soon be faced with something that caused her to become somehow even more terror stricken. Ruby's fingers parted, allowing Sam to drop down, landing square in the center of her older sister's palm. Looking around though, it took Sam a few seconds to recognize her new surroundings. A vast plateau of flesh stretched out on all sides dotted with ditches and ruts formed from the normal lines in the girl's palm. Sam looked around and quickly fell on her behind as she saw Gwen's face hanging over her. The young girl laughed, her hot breath sweeping by in a powerful gale. The British girl's face looked like the moon would to an astronaut approaching its surface. Her mere features becoming daunting as she stared into the abyss of her nostrils and mouth, both of which could effortlessly engulf her without a second thought. Even the girl's brown eyes seemed terrifying glass windows through which she was observed, the occasional blink covering them faster than Sam thought possible.
"AWWW....LOOK AT THE LIL' BUG," At this distance, Gwen's voice came out deafeningly loud.
Sam ended up falling to her knees and covering her ears in response. Both girls laughed as they saw her cower.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS TINY THING USED TO TRY AND BOSS US AROUND," Came Ruby's voice from just behind, her volume just as loud as her older sisters. Sam didn't dare turn around to see how large the smaller girl looked.
"She's too small to babysit now," Gwen began, finally lowering her voice to a quieter tone, cruelly not wanting the shrunken girl to lose her hearing before she was finished 'belittling' her.
"Maybe we should put her in an ant farm," Ruby finished, following suit in lowering her voice.
"But then we couldn't have any fun with her," Gwen brought up.
"You're right, but what are we going to do with her now?" Ruby questioned, curious about what her big sister's plan was.
"Oh that's easy," Gwen replied quickly, a plan already having formed in her head, "We're going to..."
Choice 1: "...make her even smaller" (Not content with her being the size of an ant, Ruby and Gwen use the shrink ray to reduce Sam down to a mere millimeter in height.)
Choice 2: "...introduce her to our feet." (Dropping Sam on the floor, Gwen and Ruby remove their footwear, each of which is now big enough to house a city. The girls then command Sam to start rubbing their feet. If she takes too long, the girls plan on dropping her into either Gwen's flat or Ruby's sock.)
Choice 3: "...give her back to Cat." (When Cat returns from buying her bibble, Gwen and Ruby drop the now centimeter tall Sam into her bag of popcorn-esque snacks. Cat is too distracted by her snack to think about Sam and continues devouring it while babysitting, likely eating Cat as well.)   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
