You look at the painting and see that she's adding what looks like a person. When she's done you see that the person is you! You look up at Kath and she looks at you. She gives you a smile and averts her eyes slightly. "Uh, nice work." you tell her. Its true, the painting is good, you just don't know why she put you in it. "Why am I in it though?" She answers, although it seems like she's forcing herself. She really is shy. "Well...you're the only human on the beach, you're unique."
You're flattered that someone thinks you're art worthy."Why am I so small in it?" you ask. She looks down at you. "Well you are small." she says this like its obvious. "It makes the painting more realistic." You can't argue with that. She is the artist after all. "Its really good, did you paint me by memory?" She gets shy again. "Yes, I studied you whenever I saw you." You think that she could have just asked you to model for her, but then remember how shy she is.
"Well its pretty good." you say. "Do you have any paintings of anyone else?" She shakes her head. "No, this is the first one I've done. I need to study someone before I can paint another one." Kath is a really nice girl. You want to help her so you make a suggestion. "If you don't think you know anyone well enough, I can ask them to model for you." She's a little surprised. "Really?" she says a little eagerly. "Sure, lets go find someone." you say. Kath places you on her shoulder and packs up her stuff. The two of you go to find someone to paint, but who?
