This choice: "Oliver never even thought about dating Lucy" • Go Back... "If I make it so Oliver never thought about doing anything to Lucy, then we'll still be together!" Adam thought, thinking he had worked out a way to get her back. He pressed enter, and his vision went all white, blinding him momentarily. When he came to his senses, he felt no different, and there were still no messages from Lucy, so he assumed the website was a bust. "Never mind," he thought. "It was fun while it lasted." But when he checked his phone for any messages, his background had changed to a picture of Olover with his arms around Adam, as if hugging him from behind, the two boys smiling. "I guess we're just better friends now?" Adam thought, but this was dismissed almost immediately by the text he received from Oliver:
"Hey bby, sorry you got in a big fight with Lucy 2day, we still on for 2nite?? "
Oliver would never have texted Adam anything like that, and while he was far from the most hetero boy in school (he absolutely had to be in the musical every year, without fail), something must have changed. Looking back through older texts that were now in your phone, it looked like the two of you were dating! "But I'm not gay...?" Adam thought, bemused by the situation. "Maybe the website accesses, like, parallel worlds of something? And in this one I am, I guess." Still, he had to reply to his new boyfriend, even if the idea was weird to him.
