After lunch, Matilda went back to her cabin with Hester to rest their bellies after eating their big meals. After watching some funny internet videos, Matilda and Hester fell to sleep, and the two woke up at around 6 in the afternoon. Hester was eating some snacks since she was hungry, but Matilda still had a small problem.
"Uh Hester, I woke up, and my belly is still warm from lunch. Is it supposed to be like that, or something?"
"Relax. If you still feel hungry, just have some ice cream. I brought some with me and if you want some ice cream, just get some from the fridge. Just don't touch my cookies and cream, I'm saving it for a special occasion, and I don't want it to be gone before then."
"Ok Hester. Thanks for letting me have some." Since it was ok from Hester, Matilda decided to grab a tub of Ice cream from the fridge and grabbed a spoon. After sitting back down, Matilda started having some spoonfuls of Ice cream to cool herself down. When she was done, there was a third of the ice cream left and she was full, with her belly a bit cold, but much better from being really warm. She was in bliss from how both her favorite spicy foods were available to her during school meals, and that her roommate would let her have ice cream to cool her belly down after those meals.
"Wow Hester, you were right! My belly is so better from that ice cream. "
"I knew it would work, Matilda. After all, usually when I eat something hot, I have a cold drink to balance it out."
This continued on for a week, with Matilda getting and eating her spicy favorite foods, and coming back from the cafeteria to her room so she could have some of her roommate Hester's ice cream to balance the spices out. Eventually...
