As she walked down the hallway of the English Wing, Sarah was psyching herself up for her first day of class, and she had to admit, it wasn't working too well. Her nerves were on overdrive, this being the day when first impressions were to be made and all. While the brunette was usually very calm and collected, even she had her days of stress.
A new school, with completely new students and faculty. This was the first time she’d actually have to really interact with everyone, and the brunette knew she couldn’t mess this up. Oh no, she was NOT going back to the hell-hole that public school served to be. If her younger sister could do well in this prestigious school, then so could she!
With these thoughts in mind, Sarah made a visual rundown of her apparel as she neared the door. She was wearing a nice new black suit that, while a little tight, certainly helped to emphasize her professionalism. Her black hair had a short cut to it, not even a single bit of grease to be spotted, and her fingers were freshly manicured.
The new teacher also decided to bring along a tote bag filled with all the teaching materials she thought she’d need. Course syllabus, check, pens and pencils, check, a few books she’d be teaching over the course of the semester, check! It seemed like she definitely had everything, so as she reached the door to her classroom, the brunette braced herself and entered, the tension practically killing her.
Who knew what her class would be like? She felt like she’d practically die on the spot if they turned out to be as bratty as the previous students under her instruction.
Making away to her oak desk in the front of the room, the elder Walker sibling turned to her class of fat girls and put on a big smile.
“Hello, everyone! My name is Sarah Walker, and I’m a new member of the faculty here. I hope we’ll all get along very well.” She placed her hands on the top of her desk, leaning in a bit as she asked her next question. “So, who here’s rarin’ to learn some English?”
