In the bed was a brightly colored young girl who appeared to be more of a teenager than a full grown woman as she kicked her legs up and down. She wore a polka dot skirt along with a plain white shirt with her hair done in a ponytail as she seemed a bit too upbeat. Almost silly in some instance.
She looked up from the book before tossing it aside. "God, that was boring. Mama! Dear dear mama. Please tell me you're going to let me out." Cleo said with a sense of glee in her voice.
"No way. I've been asked by the CDC to not let you out of this room under any circumstances. Why do you think I bolted your window shut?" her mother said.
"But mama...its so boring." Cleo groaned.
"I'm sorry but rules are rules." her mother said. "Now is there anything I can get you?"
"Maybe a magazine? Something more than these boring old comics." Cleo said.
"Sigh. All right." she said shutting the door. As she went to grab a magazine, she felt that something was off. She headed back to her daughters room. She knocked on the door for awhile but no answer came. She opened it to see a black hole on the wall. "Damn it!" she said slamming the door.
