Carl's eyes widened as Tim set down the food-laden plastic tray on their table which was stacked with burritos and bowls of various sides. This was is stark contrast to Carl's order of a couple small burritos and a bowl of rice.
"What? I haven't been to El Burro Del Diablo before! I wanted to try everything!" Tim said when he saw the look on Carl's face.
"Yeah, well, I haven't been here either but I didn't order half the menu." Carl replied.
Tim shrugged his shoulders as he lowered himself onto the chair opposite Carl. "Okay, but you're the one that's on a diet where I-"
"Quit because it was too hard?" Carl cut in before eating a spoonful of rice.
"Sure. But maybe it's because I was destined to be fat," Tim said between mouthfuls of his burrito supreme.
"Yeah, I thought that too," said Carl. "Then I got off the couch and stopped sucking down soda. And now for the first time in my life my shirt size doesn't begin with an X. Do you know how good that feels?"
"No, but do you know how good it feels to eat half your body weight in Mexican food? Because that's what I'm about to do," responded Tim.
Carl gave up pushing him any further for the moment and went back to enjoying his meal as Tim scarfed down burrito after burrito.
"Anyways," began Carl, "when we're finished here, you're welcome to come back to my place. I'm going to donate all of my fat clothes to charity tomorrow but I figured I'd let you take anything that interests you. I wore some pretty baggy clothes, so there might be quite a few things that'd fit you."
