The two of you split up as you run, and you hear the two giant girls shout for you to stop running. Seemingly, your refusal to let them grab you surprised them enough to make them pause and watch you instead of immediately giving chase, as you do not hear any footsteps. But that changes in a few seconds, and you feel the ground shake as the two girls resume trying to grab their brothers.
You glance back and see one of the girls behind you, but you can't tell who it is with the quick glance you take. You don't want to stay out in the open, though, so thinking fast, you jump into a gap between two segments of the couch to your side, which you and your friend had been sitting on before shrinking. You squeeze your way deeper into the gap, and glance out of it to see if one of the girls is trying to get you. You see a giant eye peering into the gap, but you can't tell whose it is. The eye blinks a few times, and you hear a disappointed huff. The eye moves away, also with the face it is set in, and you realize that the girl apparently gave up.
You sigh in relief, and stay out for a bit longer, wondering how your friend is doing, and whether you'll be able to escape or if you will be stuck in this little gap forever. You know that the girl that saw you, whether she was Addy or Jenny, probably didn't leave. She might well be waiting outside to catch you as soon as you try to leave, so you're unsure if you should try to leave...
