The next thing Alex knew, he was waking up in what he recognized as Megan’s room. Slowly, his thoughts came back and he realized that he still had Megan’s body. He slowly grabbed between his legs and confirm that nothing is there anymore.
"What is going on? And why am I in Megan’s body?" Alex thinks to yourself. Confused and hoping that this is all some twisted dream, he gets in the bed and goes back to sleep.
Alex sleeps another full night and, as he wakes up the next morning, he looks in the mirror and gets the confirmation that it wasn’t a dream. He is still Megan. Sighing, he quietly headed down stairs, not sure what is going on or how people will react.
“Good morning, Megan” he hears. It was Dawn, Megan’s mother. However, this confused Alex. She doesn’t live here. Megan’s parents were divorced.
“Ah morning...” he replies, walking into the kitchen.
“So what do you want for breakfast?” asked Dawn. Alex was about to say a bagel, his favorite, but then he suddenly started thinking about trying something else.
”I'll just have some Cheerio’s" he says. As he sits down at the table, he remembers that Cheerio’s were Megan's favorite cereal.
"Sure, box is on the table" says Dawn. Alex pours himself a bowl and, oddly enough, they taste better than he ever remembered them tasting.
After he finishes, he tries to decide what to do about all this. For some reason, Dawn is here and she wasn’t surprised to see you. Did she have something to do with this or does she really think Megan is still alive?
All of a sudden, the kitchen wall phone rings. Alex answers it.
“Hello?” he asks. A woman's voice speaks up.
"Oh, hello Megan. It's Aunt Maxine. How are you today?" said the voice. Alex paused for a moment.
"Ah...I am fine, Aunt Maxine... How are you?" he responded.
"Is everything okay sweetie? You sound strange" said Aunt Maxine.
