As she buried it she watered it and waited. There was always a sign that told her a new tree was coming. This sign she remembered for a dud from past trials was the dirt would dry up like all the nutrients and water just disappeared, this is how she found out she had to actually use the dipper herself.
As she waited there was nothing, so she waited a little longer she really wanted to test different things in the soil to see what else she could grow.
Finally she heard a cracking sound and looked only to see the soil cracked and dry.
With a sigh she said to herself “well that didn't work, I wonder what I did wrong this time?”
she began making a mental checklist of what she normally did to get the trees to grow.
Thinking on it she realized that it must have been because it wasn't used.
But she didn't know how to use a baby dress. She was way to big to fit into it but she needed it to be dirtied up in some way.
