Matt, Carson, Dillon and Tristan, his friends, followed him as he skated down the park path. It was about then that Isaac heard something he didn't like. "There you are you little shit," came the voice of a boy about two or three years older than him, "Did you get the money for me?"
"Oh, uh, no I-I forgot," replied a boy who sounded about two years younger than him, "I will though Ryan, just give me more time."
Isaac hopped off his board and ran towards the sound and saw, behind some trees, an eight year old boy with blond hair and fair skin opposing a thirteen year old boy with black hair. As he arrived he saw Ryan, the older boy, lift the younger boy up by the shirt. "I'll just give you a reminder then."
"Hey! Leave him alone," Isaac called, dashing over to the confrontation as Ryan dropped his victim and looked at him in confusion.
"And who the hell are you?" he asked angrily.
"Isaac. Now what the hell's going on here?"
"This little fag broke my skateboard a week ago and he hasn't paid me back," Ryan explained, "Now get the hell out my way or I'll teach you to mind your own damn business."
"It was an accident," the younger boy piped up from behind Isaac, "We crashed into each other and I broke one end off when I fell. I didn't do it on purpose."
"And you said you'd pay me back," Ryan replied.
"Only 'cause you said you'd break my nose if I didn't!"
"I'm gonna break both your noses if you don't shut up and get out from behind that fag."
"Holy shit dude, you're not going to fight him are you?" said one of Ryan's two friends suddenly, who until now had been leaning against a tree and watching.
"What? When did you two become such chickshits?"
"This kid said his name's Isaac. I just recognized him, he's Isaac Turner, you know, that kid who's a brown belt in like, three martial arts. He did this demonstration at the park on the fourth of July."
"Well I'm actually only a brown belt in two martial arts, I'm only a white stripe green belt in the third," Isaac corrected.
"I bet I could still take him," Ryan added.
"No way dude! I heard that Jake tried to fight him and he ended up with his shoulder dislocated and three bruises."
"That's bullshit, come on! Fight me."
Isaac sighed, "Is there any way I could persuade you not to fight me?"
"Aww, is that wittle baby scared?" Ryan asked mockingly, before aiming a punch right at Isaac's face.
Isaac swiftly stepped aside and brought his arm down onto Ryan's back. Though he wasn't trying too hard he was shocked to see the blow sent Ryan hurtling into the ground hard and he made the loud groan of someone who'd been winded. "My back!" the older boy gasped.
"Dude! You weren't supposed to try and kill him," Ryan's friend said.
"I wasn't trying to. That shouldn't have hurt him that much."
"Well it did, now what?"
"Hang on," Isaac said, pulling back Ryan's shirt and feeling his back for any extreme damage. "His spine is fine."
"That's great, but seriously, what do we do now?" | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
