Kiara awoke groggily from whatever caused her to black out in the first place, smelling the air surrounding the area around her she found this smell familiar yet different from what she was used to it was someplace that she may have been in before with her two friends Tiifu and Zuri on one of their many adventures across the Pridelands but how did she get to this place now. Staggering the cub began to get up, “ow my head, what happened to me” Kiara though trying to make sense of what happened to her she didn’t know where she was although looking around the area she could see it was one place her mother and father always warned her to be very cautious of, the Outlands. Fearing the reason she got here Kiara begun to quickly look around the area where she was eyes darting around, looking at where she was it seemed to be a big system of tunnels and caves someplace that she had never seen before, all of it was foreign to her “you don’t know where you are do you princess” a voice chimed in, Kiara didn’t know why she didn’t sense the presence of whoever was stalking her at this moment. Kiara didn’t know how to feel about this person who casually lurked up behind her in such a manner, even though Kiara was being taught by one of the best hunters in the Pridelands this other creature was so stealthy that she Kiara couldn’t even recognize what type of creature it was, the person hopped down from the ledge in which she was laying down from, seeing clearly that it was an older lion who was peering at her a massive grin upon her face, vicious with the smirk on her face caused Kiara to shrink in her place not knowing what this lioness would want with her she knew it had to be nothing good that was a given.
“It’s an honor to have the princess of the Pridelands in my humble abode, I am your host of the little soiree I have brought you here as a plaything for my daughter to have fun with” the lioness stated cackling while saying it, this lion was someone Kiara knew quite well it was someone who her father had disdain for as she was one person who had relations with her great-uncle scar years her name being Zira a lioness who was as ruthless as scar once was, always thinking that she was meant to be the queen of the Pridelands and someone who couldn’t be reduced to being exiled to the Outlands. Kiara was just scared at what was going to happen to her there was no way she could defend against the might that was Zira she was as tough as she was Cynical all the young cub could think of what to do was to run, dashing past Zira in a burst of speed to overtake the larger body of Zira, not thinking about how she was going to escape the cave Kiara only Knew that she had to get out of there as soon as possible.
“Oh we are playing this game are we young princess, well I’m up for a chase just be ready to lose” getting ready to chase Kiara Zira said just she darted for the young cub, like someone who was out on the prowl, catching up to Kiara quite easily her long legs and body made the distance between them seem like nothing at all. Quickly Zira was able to catch up with her prize it was mere child’s play to someone of her speed and grace, easily she caught up with Kiara grasping the Princess’ nape with her maw, dragging her away deeper into the caverns that littered the area in which they stood. Deeper they went into the cave system the more Kiara struggled to get away from this woman she didn’t know what the lioness wanted with her but Kiara didn’t want to stick around to find out what that was, shifting her weight to an fro she thought that this would dislodge her from the mouth of Zira a feeble attempt to get away from the menacing Lion was good then no attempt. “Stttahp strwggling” Zira spoke slurred in her words thanks to Kiara’s wriggling, thinking she could get loose from the mighty grasp of Zira was just a dream by this point, her captor just clamped down harder on Kiara’s nape making sure that she couldn’t break free from the hold Zira had on her. Kiara was unceremoniously dropped by Zira as the reached their destination inside the caverns, mouth agape Kiara saw what their destination was…  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
