Joanna, still with your body, laughed. "You're kiddin' me. Seriously. You think that brat is me? You must be as stupid as everyone says." Your body laughed with such a tone of mockery and ridicule that you never wanted to hear your voice sound like that ever again. You punch your body in the stomach and yell "That's for stealing my girl, twerp!". Joanna, in your body, reeled over and fell to the ground unconscious.
"Look. I can explain..." you begin, as you notice Katie still in disbelief about your current appearance.
"Well, as long as you take me back to this 'body switch machine' and prove to me that it is real and it works, then I'll believe you-- Kyle." She finishes, smiling innocently. You both agree to take the three of you back to your house and swap you and Joanna back to normal. With you and Katie dragging your unconscious body along the ground to your house, it was certainly an interesting sight. People walking their dogs turned to you and stared, half in puzzledness and half in curiosity.
Ignoring those stares from many people, you whisper to Katie "This is gonna hurt when I get back to my body," as you accidentally hit your body's head against a rock while you weren't looking where you were dragging.
As you finally get home, after what seemed like hours of glances from people, you and Katie drag your body to the body-switch machine. "You sure this will work?" Katie asks doubtfully.
"Trust me, this will work," you reply. You hope.
You lean Joanna in one pod and sit in the other pod. Katie operates the switch based on your instructions, and a blue light flashes in your eyes.
You get up. You definitely feel different. That's because you are now in _________ body.
