But what author (living or dead) would you like to sit down and talk to and why?
I'll start us off. Just as I found out Dragoncon was renamed for Anne McCaffrey's DragonRiders of Pern works, she passed away, and thus though it is a con I used to drive past every year about that time of year to visit family... I never got to thank the author singularly most responsible for getting me into reading novels and writing.

: 09-21-15 @ 1:37pm : Rudyard Kipling for me as I fell in love with 'The Jungle Book' and kept right on reading after that. Well, finally reading without being forced to. http://www.biography.com/people/rudyard-kipling-9365581#world-war-i

: 09-22-15 @ 7:02pm : One author named Lyle who is no more, was friendly to me, and filled with Lore. He had great advice, and laughed at my jokes, he made nice, and was good to folks.
