Whew. Thanks for telling us all about it. Just ignore all my questions is my previous post then!

That's such a fabulous idea to go somewhere public to talk things out. If I did that it would also help relieve the awkwardness because other people would be around and I wouldn't feel so focused on and alone.

Do you think your dad would benefit from counseling? I mean, I know nothing about if counseling is just a big fad that people are obsessed with and is a way of making educated people rich, but has he thought about it? Have you suggested it? Has anyone ever brought it up?
