As for free members posting directly to the board, I don't see a problem as long as the rating of the board itself matches/exceeds the posting. Perhpas require items posted directly to have some sort of symbol in the post title ("**" or "<>") to denote that something immediately offensive lies within.

AWESOME prizes! I'd also make sure the time allowed for entries is fairly long, at least a month if not longer.

An option though may be to give those themes are prompts and honor the best of prompt with a smaller prize, in addition to the best overall. Or perhaps just have them as a series of prompts over a few contests.

I've just started an in&out called "Invalid Item" , for people to plug the items that are too maturely rated to have a place on the offical plug page. If you want to drop anything in there, have at it!


P.S. "(i.e. guy meets girl, girl fights instinct to kill guy)" Weird... I have a series like that in my port right now! Great minds, eh?
