Does anyone still read the late Richard Brautigan? He has been the greatest influence on me. His collection of short stories, Revenge of the Lawn is full of what you would call Romantica, verging on soft erotica. In there is a story, "An Unlimited Supply of 35mm Film" that sums up the fine line between romantic and erotic attraction better than any place I have ever read.
