Pets - In Memoriam

I never realised there was a place for people to talk about deceased pets here.But thank you for whoever did come up with this board.
My cat died about a year ago.I still am not able to let it go,but I'm beginning to cope with it.She was the only pet I ever got that close to.I think I cried my eyes out the first 3 days she was gone.I don't think I'll ever be able to get that close to another cat.
I don't know if anyone else out there was that close to a pet.If there is,please let me hear about it.
