I (almost) agree. But I think the founding father's idea of making the President the Commander in Chief is a good one as a check and balance. What they couldn't know or believe is that the Executive Oversight by the Congress would be so completely abdicated. I believe the breakdown of democracy lies with the weak-spined and sycophant Congressmen/women and Senators ON BOTH SIDES.
