That is an interesting question. In the real world, I'm honestly not sure. Some part of me would like to believe then other parts of me questions how it could be possible. When it comes to fiction, I've got a different response. I actually had an idea many years ago, during my first years on the site, that included the topic of Atlantis. One of the story ideas (and I think there was two but don't remember anymore) involved a science/magig mixed concept of Atlantis but that is a secret government project, instead of the world in the water approach. One of the main characters is someone who managed to escape. They are hunted by the section of government that was handling the experiment. I didn't get far but enjoyed the idea for a while. |
