I feel you need two perspectives. Gives you more of rounded foundation to make decisions about the little things and life itself. You were fortunate you had two opposite types of grandmothers. That's the way it was between my wife and I. I was the cynic and pessimist, while she was the full on optimist. She learned from my pessimist side to keep a watchful eye on everything and I learned from her optimist side to try to see more things on a brighter side. We balanced each other out and that's what your Grandmothers remind me of. Two opposing outlooks and attitudes but I feel you need those both perspectives. But that's JMO. |
