I suppose I'm going to follow the pack and say my mum. She showed me that women are the strongest sex. They had to be when their husbands left to go and fight during the war. She raised her three children alone for six years whilst Dad was away. It changed women so much and their reluctance to return to the status quo before the war was the cause of many marriages breaking down when the man returned. She was woman before her time, always the first to embrace the new, whether it was fashion or interior design. She died when she was 70 many years ago and I know she would have loved all the latest technology and been asking AI for advice.  |
