Not my mom, but my mother in law. She was the kindest, most gentle person I've ever known. She welcomed me into her family without reservation and with so much love. Before gay marriage was legal, she introduced me to her extended family (including her 101 year old father) as her "daughter in love." I'd never felt cherished, until her. She passed on March 24, 2023, but I still feel her in my heart. (This is the sappiest post I've ever written.)
