Minor earthquakes in California, blizzards in and around the great lakes region, hurricanes on the east coast... Major earthquake and tsunami in Christchurch, NZ (2011 & 2016)... Was sat 100m from the beach in New Brighton when the tsunami alarm went off for the first. That was... Ummm... Interesting. Typhoons / monsoon & associated flooding across Asia. Have yet to witness a tornado first hand, but plenty of storms (and more flooding) here in the UK. Missed the two of the three big storms of this winter, but the last went through with 100+mph winds, knocked out power, water & internet across the county. The usual.. |
