I've been caught in plenty of earthquakes, although none that I think would qualify as a "disaster." The price of living on a fault line...

I've actually been quite fortunate that while I've been in the vicinity of natural disasters plenty (like last year's LA fires), I've always been just far enough away that evacuation hasn't been necessary. We've had a few close calls, but nothing lasting thank goodness.
