Nothing major. The occasional hurricane, which is just a part of life in the mid-Atlantic US, but nothing worse than minor damage and some hours or days without electricity. There was the earthquake several years ago. It wasn't a huge earthquake, but noticeable quakes are really rare in Virginia, so I didn't know what was going on at first. As soon as I realized it was an earthquake, I ran to the kitchen to keep my liquor stash from falling off the top of the fridge. Priorities, you know. Again, though, only minor damage, and none to the booze, fortunately. So, nothing that rose to the level of "disaster." Yet. |
