The first thing I would do is pay off my medical bills and the rest of my student loans. Then, I would fix up my house and purchase a few extra acres off in the woods somewhere. Then, I would set $100K aside for each of my grandchildren for college or starter money for when they turned 18. $100K each to my two daughters as well. That would leave roughly $300K to donate. I think I would donate that to my local animal shelter. They could make the most use of the money. I know their facilities could use improvement and they never turn down food, blanket, or toy donations. (Honestly, if I had my way, I'd probably try to adopt as many of the sweet babies as I could get my husband to agree to.) |
