I've broken a friendship with a guy because he spoke very insultingly of a lady I respect a lot. She does phenomenal work for differently-abled people and a lot of charity. In those days she used to do parties for 3,000 economically deprived kids at a time each Christmas, and once did enough parties to reach 100,000 people! Each got a Santa gift, a juice and snack, then lunch and participated in sing-alongs.
When this guy spoke so sneeringly of her, it was kaput for his friendship with me!
