QOTD: How long did you stare at a page without writing before deciding you needed a break?

Me? Not too long. If an idea doesn't strike me within 5-10 minutes, I try doing something else until I get an idea in my head of what I want to write. I usually already have the title, it's just finding how I wish to write about the title I chose. I won't waste my time staring at a screen on what to write for hours. That's not being productive at all.
