When I worked for Static Movement Press as an editor, we received a short story written entirely in txtspk. The chief editor sent a rejection suggesting the writer "use English" for an English-language anthology and received a huge email back telling her she was behind the times and one day all of that language would be normal. Not only has the txtspk changed from this time (2011) but I see less and less of it. |
