This piece I started in Nov 2024 and not sure exactly why I stopped working on it. I believe I was having such a hard time with the 17th Century language it caused me to lose interest. I intended this to be supernatural, detective type story. The premise was man against warlock. A Detective discovers a pattern in bodies being found and unsolved deaths. The Warlock brothers need the souls to keep themselves alive. The Detective gets called out on a couple strange ones, where the dead body should be hundreds of years old and dressed accordingly. This story is following him as he strives to convince others of this as well as trying to track this warlock. This is supposed to be first chapter, an introduction to the warlocks. Next was to be a few hundred years later and introduce the detective. This is the point I lost interest. Maybe since I have looked back at it, I'll try to follow it through by making rest of story without using 17th century language. |
