I’m not as concerned about having my work read here. I want to post it on Archive of our Own. My other stories are there, and I have a guaranteed audience. Each time I write The Full, True Tale, my word count is between those numbers. The story wants to be that long, and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. Most of those stories are 1-2k, but I have written lengthier works. I have been using body language, inner thoughts, and reactions. The reactions are built into the story. “Is this kid really related to the Chief?” “What do you mean your story is missing information?” “You fainted?” In the first film, Hiccup does faint. I appreciate that you offered that advice—I feel like I’m going in the right direction. Thanks! Whiskers {e:Cat |
