I think the only way with the big cats is to get them when they're like real small cubs. This way they will get use to you and hopefully form a bond for a lifetime. The drawback I find on that, even though you may have bonded with them from babies, they are still a wild animal.

But I like you're thinking. I love the big cats as well. But I'll stick with the small domesticated 4 little monsters I have...lmao They're brutal enough when pissed off, so I can imagine what the big cats would do to you. Licking their chops afterwards thinking, mmm tastes like chicken.

Now, IMO on the timberwolves, I think if you get them young enough they could be a great pet and less likely than a big cat to revert back to wild. Though it still could happen with a timberwolve.

They are beautiful animals both the Big Cats and especially that timberwolve gif you have up.

It's nice to dream.
