I used to have tea and coffee with milk and sugar. The milk got cut out, and I ended up preferring unsweetened black coffee. I can't take tea unsweetened, so a teaspoon of runny honey is the usual choice.
Getting bona fide honey is an obsession now. In the UK, most honey is, to quote the label, "a blend of EU and non-EU honeys". Non-EU honey will likely as not contain a substantial component of Chinese honey, and a non-trivial percentage of Chinese honey is artificial - factory produced gloop with faked authenticity certification. So I tend to try to pin down honey from a named source, even if that makes it more expensive. I've recently had honey from the UK (obviously), Romania (!), Spain and Mexico.
