If you ask me, organization is a big part of writing habits. The more organized you are, the more you are with your writing. If you think about it - doing NaNoWriMo (which is no more officially, but unofficially...) is a big challenge in organizing your time so you hit between 1500-1700 words a day so as to hit that bit 50K at the end of the month.
Finding/organizing time is a challenge for me because I'm still working (at night) and sleeping (during the day). I try to fit in about 20 mins a day to work on my writing.
But then there's the writing itself. Organization of the plot, character bios, research notes on the setting, World building notes... etc.
I usually use 1 inch binders to help me organize my notes (and for the most part I still prefer writing pen to paper), but some people use the college notebooks and use the pencil cases to keep track of pens and such. I also use post-it notes and writing pads to help with organization, but I use them mainly for marketing notes or reminders.
Of course I use the computer, but mainly for typing the story and the Internet for research, etc.
Heck, organization is a big part of writing. How do you organize your writing?
