While it is true that some houses that burned down in January were owned by very rich people, Pacific Palisades was also the home of many renters in small apartments that were still affordable. They got less media coverage because they're not famous and didn't have ring cameras live streaming their burning mansion. Now, these people are displaced and they don't have a second house in the Hamptons.
